WHAT YOU CAN DO
We are currently looking for some wonderful humans that are willing to give monetary donations to GP3 in order to give life to the projects that our community really needs. Not only can you offer monetary support, but you can also donate your time, which is priceless and very much appreciated.
We love how quiet our little town is most days, but sometimes it is great to have something going on for people to get together! We have done a few events including our taco dinner kickoff event in May and an organized garage sale event. GP3 has also helped welcome Meraki Market to town once a month for a fun morning of coffee & breakfast for our community!
Grandifying Grinnell is GP3’s current project to give a facelift to our existing businesses and community spaces. We know how difficult it is to find the time and man power to do these things for our community, so GP3 has volunteered their time to do some painting around town. So far we have painted the CheckHers & His building, the Hometown Grocery building, and the bleachers and concession stand at the Middle School.
Grinnell Community Market
Every third Saturday of the month, GP3 hosts a Community Market for our community to be able to shop from local vendors in one convenient location. This includes jams, custom tees, decor, fresh florals, soaps, eggs, and more! There is also a few options for made to order food at each event. We appreciate all of our community support at each and every market!

Join GP3 to enjoy a free will donation spaghetti supper. There will be spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and dessert to enjoy along with great music! Everyone enjoyed the taco supper so much that we decided to do another fun evening for the whole community to enjoy.
Trunk or Treat
October 29, 2022 | 6 pm | City Park
Enjoy a fun evening for all ages! We encourage community members, groups, and businesses to join us at the City Park for a hot dog feed. Then join us for the Trunk or Treat where cars will be lined up tailgate-style with the trunks decorated to the nines. Children will go trunk to trunk, just like one would go door to door, asking for candy and joining in on games. The accessibility and safety behind trunk or treat makes for an inclusive trick-or-treating experience!
Movie Night in the Park
October 29, 2022 | 8 pm | City Park
After the Trunk or Treat event, stick around to enjoy the movie Hocus Pocus in the park. Hocus Pocus is a 1993 American fantasy comedy horror film that follows a villainous comedic trio of witches who are inadvertently resurrected by a teenage boy in Salem, Massachusetts, on Halloween night. The movie is rated PG and is 1 hr 36 min long. Bring your own chairs and jackets or blankets in case it gets chilly!
